Bob Knight To Campaign With Trump Wednesday In Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Former Indiana University basketball coach Bob Knight will campaign with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Trump is returning to the Indiana State Fairgrounds for a 6 p.m. rally with Knight at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Trump also campaigned there April 20.

Knight won three NCAA championships at IU and remains widely admired by many Hoosiers despite being fired in 2000.

The rally announcement came as GOP foe Ted Cruz held a third straight day of campaign events in Indiana ahead of Indiana's May 3 primary.

Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich announced Sunday they were coordinating in an effort to stop Trump from getting the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination before the GOP's July convention.
