Bob Dylan Touts Detroit In Chrysler Super Bowl Ad

Bob Dylan wants you to buy American.

"Let Germany brew your beer. Let Switzerland make your watch. Let Asia assemble your phone. We will build your car," said singer songwriter legend Bob Dylan in a two-minute Chrysler Super Bowl commercial.

During a second half blowout game with the Seattle Seahawks dominating the Denver Broncos -- attention turns to commercials and social media. It's a perfect time for a big-budget spot to air and Chrysler may strike a chord with its advertisement for the 2015 200 sedan.

The automaker has tapped personalities with Detroit roots in the past with its 2011 Eminem Super Bowl ad and Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for a follow-up 300 ad.

Fiat gained complete ownership of Chrysler recently and renamed the group of auto brands Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. The new company is headquartered in the Netherlands.
