Blackhawks Look For Turnaround Against Kings

JAY COHEN, AP Sports Writer

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks were in this same spot a year ago. They came back and went on to their second Stanley Cup title in four seasons.

Unfortunately for the Blackhawks, the Los Angeles Kings have been in their spot, too. They want to close this series out as soon as possible.

Los Angeles brings a 3-1 lead back to Chicago for Game 5 of the Western Conference final on Wednesday night.

The Kings had impressive comebacks in each of the first two rounds of the playoffs, so they know the importance of finishing the Blackhawks while they are down.

Chicago trailed Detroit in the second round in 2013, and then used a Game 5 win at home to spark a big comeback.

The Blackhawks are drawing confidence from their experience against the Red Wings, but know they are facing a daunting challenge against the rolling Kings.
