They feature a licensed bar and will even go out of the way to create plans for any event. As mentioned, The Mega 80's cover band performs at The Magic Bag regularly and was named "The Best Cover Band In The City" by the Metro Times in 2015. The band has also won "Best Cover Band" in Real Detroit Weekly for thirteen years.

The Australian Pink Floyd visited the venue in July 2016, adding to their growing resume. The tribute band has performed in over 35 countries and sold in excess of three million tickets.
