Bengals CB Adam 'Pacman' Jones Fined $35,000 [VIDEO]

CINCINNATI (AP) — Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones says he's been fined $35,000 by the NFL for his personal foul against Raiders receiver Amari Cooper during their opener on Sunday.

Jones was on top of Cooper and slammed his head to the ground during the second quarter, drawing a penalty for unnecessary roughness. He wasn't ejected, and a scrum resulted after the play ended.

Jones said on Wednesday that he's going to appeal the fine — which he describes as "way too much." He says the league characterized his actions as hitting a defenseless player.

The Bengals won the game 33-13. They host the San Diego Chargers (1-0) on Sunday.
