Autopsy: Death Of 4-Year-Old Ruled A Homicide

DETROIT (WWJ) - The accidental shooting death of a four year old boy has been declared a homicide after an autopsy result. The shooter was his four-year-old cousin.

Police are calling the death of Jamel Witcher Jr. a tragic accident. He was shot in the chest Thursday after his cousin picked up the gun near a bed while they were watching television.

Police say that a woman in the home was arrested on a warrant unrelated to the case. He says a man was arrested for being an ex-convict who possessed a gun.
