Authorities Search For Missing Boater In Lake St. Clair

ST. CLAIR COUNTY (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say a 38-year-old man is missing after he jumped from a boat to swim in the St. Clair River and didn't resurface.

The search resumes Tuesday for the man, who was reported missing Monday evening from the boat near the Algonac Harbour Club.

The St. Clair County sheriff's department dive team searched Monday night for the man without finding him.

He was one of several people who jumped from the boat into the water about 35 miles northeast of Detroit. His name wasn't immediately released.
