Texas Man Sought In Stabbing Outside Michigan Funeral Home

BAY CITY, Mich. (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say a Texas man is being sought after a man was stabbed following an argument at a funeral home in Michigan.

A 36-year-old Bay City man was taken to a hospital for treatment after being stabbed in the abdomen Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot of Gephart Funeral Home. Police say the men had been attending a funeral service when they had a disagreement. The injuries were described as non life-threatening.

Police say the man suspected in the stabbing fled afterward and remains at large. He's identified as a 61-year-old from Florence, Texas, who had driven to Michigan.

An investigation is ongoing.
