Authorities: Man Dies After Detroit-Area Snowmobile Crash

WHITE LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 43-year-old man has died following a snowmobile crash along a recreational trail in suburban Detroit.

The Oakland Press of Pontiac reports police in Oakland County's White Lake Township say the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. Monday in Pontiac State Recreation Area.

Police chief Adam Kline says the rider was among a group of several snowmobilers on a path that isn't supposed to be used by motorized vehicles.
