Authorities Identify Boy Who Died In Snowy Michigan Crash

OVID TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 14-year-old boy who died in a weekend crash on a snowy Michigan roadway.

The Clinton County sheriff's department says Anthony Bontrager, of Ovid, was a passenger and died after the car in which he was riding slid into the path of a pickup truck on Sunday in Ovid Township.

The sheriff's department says the boy was riding in the backseat and was ejected during the crash. The driver of the car and another passenger were hospitalized. No one in the pickup truck was injured.

The National Weather Service reports more than 11 inches of snow fell in parts of the state during the weekend storm.
