Authorities ID 2 Fatally Shot At Home In Western Michigan

GARFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) --€” Michigan State Police have identified the husband and wife killed in a shooting following a domestic disturbance at a home in western Michigan.

Police says 38-year-old Kristie Wolever and 49-year-old Thomas Wolever of Newaygo were found dead early Monday. They say 18-year-old Thomas Stebleton, who also lived in the home, was transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound. He was listed in stable condition Monday afternoon.

Police said the shootings occurred about 2 a.m. Monday. Police haven't said who fired the gunshots.

Thomas Wolever's father, Frank Wolever, tells WOOD-TV that Stebleton is his son's stepson. He says Thomas Wolever had been staying with him.

Frank Wolever says Kristie Wolever was seeking a divorce from his son.
