Authorities: Remains Found At Detroit Park Were From Animal

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) -  Authorities say remains initially thought to be human that were found at Rouge Park in Detroit turned out to be from an animal.

Officers of the 8th precinct responded to a call regarding possible remains found and were directed to a wooded area where the remains were discovered.  Investigators were seen with shovels and rakes at the scene.

Police say a preliminary examination of the remains at the scene had led officials to say that the remains were that of a human.
