(CBS DETROIT) - At home rapid Covid testing may be on its way.

The Food and Drug Administration has outlined a template for commercial companies to work with the government on tests that can be done quickly at home, office or class.

The FDA says it wants to get tests to marker that are as simple to use as a home pregnancy test.
