Arrest Made After Shooting At Dearborn Shopping Mall

DEARBORN (AP) - A man has been arrested in connection with shots fired inside a suburban Detroit shopping mall.

Police tell WXYZ-TV Tuesday that a gun believed to have used in the shooting has been recovered and a second suspect is being sought.

No injuries were reported Monday at the Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn, just west of Detroit.

WDIV-TV reports that a 24-year-old man pulled a gun and fired shots after another man snatched a pair of designer glasses from his face. Police tell the television station the 24-year-old man is licensed to carry a concealed pistol.

The mall was locked-down for several hours before reopening Monday night.

Evening classes were cancelled Monday at nearby Henry Ford Community College and the University of Michigan Dearborn.
