Arraignment Expected For 2 Men Charged In Beating Of Substitute Teacher

DETROIT (AP) - Two men are expected to be arraigned Monday morning in 36th District court in Detroit for allegedly beating up a substitute teacher in Detroit. Lorenzo Morris claims it all started with a dispute with another teacher at Central Collegiate Academy on the city's west side when he stepped in to scold her misbehaving students.

He accuses the teacher's husband and a friend of assaulting him at the school later in the day with a paint scraper. Cleveland Moore and Alonzo Griffin are expected to face charges of felonious assault.

The defendants are expected to be arraigned on Monday, December 9, in Detroit.
