Armed Man In Clown Mask Robs Guests At Livonia Hotel

LIVONIA (WWJ) - Police say a man in a clown mask who robbed multiple guests at a Livonia hotel could be responsible for similar crimes over the past few days.

The incident happened around 7:15 a.m. Thursday at the Embassy Suites hotel on Victor Parkway, along I-275 between 7 Mile and 8 Mile roads.

The masked man, who was armed with a handgun, reportedly held up a couple of guests inside the lobby and fled the scene after taking their wallets. It's unclear if the incident was captured on the hotel's surveillance system. No injuries were reported.
