Another Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Northern Metro Detroit; 2-5 Inches Of Snow Expected

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Yet another Winter Weather Advisory has been issued with 1-4 inches of snow expected in metro Detroit on Sunday.

The advisory -- which is in effect from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday -- covers most of northern metro Detroit, including Macomb, Oakland, Livingston and St. Clair counties.

According to the National Weather Service, snow will begin in the morning and intensify in the afternoon before changing to all rain in the evening.

A period of sleet is expected before snow showers transition into rain.
