Ann Arbor Teen Dies, Hit By Car Before School

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - An Ann Arbor Public Schools student has died after being hit by a car Tuesday morning.

Ann Arbor police say the accident happened at around 7:20 a.m. along Fuller Road, near Huron Parkway and Huron High School.

The victim, 16-year old, Qi-Xuan Tang, was taken by EMS to University of Michigan Medical Center where he died a short time later.

It was not immediately clear if the driver was at fault or if he or she could face charges. Police have closed Fuller Road as they investigate.

The boy's name isn't being released at this time. Ann Arbor Schools are working with police to notify the teen's family.
