UPDATE: Ann Arbor police downed power line removed from Huron River

(CBS DETROIT) - Ann Arbor police have removed a downed power line from the Huron River after Wednesday night's storm.

Since the power line has been removed from the water, regular operations will resume today, Thursday, July 27, according to police. 

At about 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, police told residents to avoid the Huron River due to a downed power line in the water.
