Animal Control Responds To Call About Backyard Tiger, Gets A Surprise

KENT COUNTY (CBS Detroit) It's a bird, it's a plane ... it's a tiger!

And one neighbor in this suburb of Grand Rapids, Mich., apparently wasn't very happy to see it.

A neighbor called police reporting a tiger in the backyard, and officers rushed out to handle the situation.

There's no word on how exactly they planned to catch the tiger, or what they planned to do with it, but they showed up in force.

And apparently they quickly discovered no amount of prodding would move the big guy.
