Angry Jim Harbaugh Walks Away From Media

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) He does everything with an intensity barely known to man, apparently including reacting to media questions he doesn't want to answer.

An obviously perturbed Jim Harbaugh walked away during a presser Monday when he was pressed on the issue of two suspended players.

"I know you like to ask a lot of questions, but we'll handle that internally," he said in response to questions Monday about the suspension of two freshman Michigan football players.

The reporter followed up, asking about the length of the suspension. Harbaugh reddened, then said, "You're never satisfied, you always want a second question, a third question, a fourth question ...I just said we'd handle it internally."

As the reporter tries to respond, Harbaugh stalks off the stage, saying "Good. Thanks a lot."

According to freep.com, Harbaugh said freshmen Kareem Walker and Mitchell and Johnson were not in the preseason team photo because they were not invited. "Two of those players are suspended," Harbaugh added.

It appears the suspended players are true freshman Ahmir Mitchell and redshirt freshman Shelton Johnson. A U of M official clarified that Walker, a running back from Wayne, N.J., was not suspended, per the freep.

Harbaugh is known for colorful sideline antics, including this meltdown after kicker penalty was called in Michigan's game against Oregon State last September.
