Andre Drummond Clears Concussion Tests, Expected To Play Tuesday

AUBURN HILLS (CBS DETROIT) -- After playing only 11 minutes on Saturday against the Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond has been cleared to return to the lineup on Tuesday after being tested for a concussion.

Drummond posted only four points and two rebounds before leaving the game in second quarter after suffering concussion-like symptoms following a series of hard fouls.

The Pistons lost to the Jazz, 88-85, for their tenth straight loss. After battling for one of the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference around the All-Star break, the Pistons now sit seven games behind eighth place with just 16 games left to play.

The team is back in Auburn Hills to take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday after going 0-4 on its west coast road trip.
