Alpena Woman, Margaret Suszek, Celebrates 100th and Recovery From COVID-19

(CBS Detroit) - When it comes to birthdays, no one knows how to do it better than a 100-year-young Michigander!

The Alpena woman celebrated the big milestone over the weekend, with four generations of her family showing up for the event.

Even more remarkable, she did it while recovering from COVID-19.

Family members say it was one of the rare times they got to see each other since the pandemic began.
