Aggressively Recruiting, Harbaugh Offers Scholarship To Eighth Grader

By Mike Sullivan
(97.1 The Ticket) Jim Harbaugh's national recruiting efforts have taken another step.

According to the Daytona Beach News Journal, Harbaugh recently offered a scholarship to eighth grade prospect Blake Hinson.

Hinson, a 6'5, 205 pound wide receiver, actually played varsity football last season at Warner Christian in South Daytona where he caught 24 passes for 518 yards and 4 TDs.

He also plays AAU basketball and averages 22.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. This kid is clearly a great athlete and Michigan isn't the only school who has taken notice.

The Journal reports that Hinson also holds football scholarship offers from Florida, Miami and North Carolina. Additionally, he has basketball offers from Florida State and Miami.

The future certainly looks bright for this youngster.
