Act Of Kindness Goes Viral For Michigan Mom On Plane With Crying Baby

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Just about every parent has been there, stuck somewhere where you can't easily escape and with a crying baby in your arms who won't be soothed.

On an airplane, it's even worse.

That's why new mom Rebekka Garvison of Kalamazoo was so upset when she got a plane with her baby daughter for the first time and the little girl wouldn't quiet down. The first person she was seated next to on the plane obviously didn't want her there.

She quietly asked to move, and ended up next to a woman who soothed the baby the entire time, and even helped her disembark and get out of the airport safely.

Her account of the act of kindness has gone viral.
