Sometimes a player ends up better off when he lets his performance do the talking and not celebratory action after the play.

Lions LB Stephen Tulloch celebrated a sack against the Packers' Aaron Rodgers and wound up tearing his ACL in his left knee.

The move during which Tulloch hurt himself appeared to be the "discount double-check"— in reference to Rodgers' State Farm commercials.

Rodgers made a comment on his weekly radio show, taking a shot at Tulloch.

According to ESPN.com: "I just wanted to remind people you can do that celebration and not hurt yourself."

Tulloch did respond to the comment via his Twitter account saying, "Much respect to A Rod, great player. I'll leave it at that."

Looks like the Lions jut might have a little extra incentive when they face the Packers in their final game of the season.
