A Break During The Holiday; Gas Prices Continue To Plunge

DETROIT (WWJ) - We should have extra money in our pockets for holiday shopping.

Gas prices in metro Detroit are at their lowest in years. The $1.50 barrier has been broken at the Sam's Club on Gratiot in Roseville.

DetroitGasPrices.com shows regular unleaded selling at $1.49 a gallon. The current national average price is just over two bucks a gallon. In metro Detroit, the average is just over a $1.80.
