92-Year-Old Man Dies After Moped He Was Riding Is Struck

ROGERS CITY, Mich. (WWJ/AP) - A 92-year-old man has died after the moped he was riding in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula collided with another vehicle.

Police say Ralph Taylor, of Rogers City, died following Wednesday's crash, which involved a 71-year-old woman from Rogers City.

Police say Taylor was trying to cross North Bradley Highway when he was hit. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The other vehicle's driver wasn't injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
