A few weeks ago, I participated in the Detroit Tigers Fantasy Camp.
I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into, and quite frankly I thought it would be a breeze.
I was so wrong. It's as real as it gets. We played eight games in five days. I pulled a hamstring. Between that and getting an awful bruise on my hand, I didn't know how to hold a bat.
It's serious business. The players take it seriously.
Most Major League teams have a fantasy camp and it appears the Colorado Rockies fantasy camp gets serious.
In a video posted by ESPN, it shows an 88-year-old man ready to charge the mound after the pitch was high and inside.
It's a good thing the umpire got in the middle of it! Who knows what would have happened otherwise.
