77-Year-Old Held Captive During Home Invasion In Rochester Hills

ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) - Frightening moments for a 77-year-old woman in Rochester Hills Tuesday after authorities say she was the victim of a home invasion.

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies say a man confronted the homeowner just before 1 p.m., bound her with tape, and blindfolded her before searching the house.

The man, believed to be in his 20's, broke into a home in the 2800 block of Crooks Road.

The woman was able to free herself and run to a neighbor's home for help.

Police are still looking for the perpetrator who was last seen wearing a black t-shirt over a sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Oakland County Sheriff's Department.
