71-Year-Old Man On Tractor Killed By Falling Tree

FORESTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A 71-year-old man has died after a tree fell on him while he was removing another tree in Sanilac County.

The sheriff's office says the incident occurred Friday in Forester Township, 40 miles north of Port Huron. The man's name wasn't immediately released.

He was trying to clear a fallen tree with his tractor when a rear blade caught another tree, which fell on him.
