7-Foot Thon Maker Has Better Handles Than Most Point Guards [VIDEO]

When you think of tall point guards you instantly name Magic Johnson -- from there you can mention Lamar Odom at Rhode Island, and even more recently the Milwaukee Bucks who tried out 6-foot-11-inch Giannis Antetokounmpo at point.

17-year-old Thon Maker, who was born in South Sudan and now lives in a suburb of Toronto, has handles that rival most college point guards.

Maker looks like Manute Bol but handles the rock like Jay Williams did at Duke.

According to ESPN, Maker has been pursued by Arizona, Florida, Duke, Kentucky and Louisville among others.

As a Michigan State fan, I would hope Mr. Izzo gives Maker a buzz on the phone. Heck, John Beilein could and I would go and watch Michigan play.
