What is it about the guys the New York Mets bring in to throw the first pitch? Is the pressure so high they totally forget how to throw?
That appears to be what happens. First it was Ba-Ba Booey -- who throw out just an awful first pitch. I didn't think it could get any worse.
That is, until I watched MLB TV last night and caught wind of rapper 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson's first pitch last night. This dude was so far from throwing the ball over home plate it's almost not funny.
Poor Curtis did talk before the first pitch and was really excited to throw out this pitch in front of his friends and family.
No word if he got pitching advice from now former Mets pitcher Jose Valverde.
