5 Teens Arraigned After Vehicles Damaged By BB, Pellet Guns

FERNDALE, Mich. (AP) - Five teens are charged with malicious destruction of property after dozens of parked vehicles in several suburban Detroit communities were shot with BB and pellet guns.

Antonio Bailey of Warren, Aubrey Gulley of Eastpointe, Jalin Davis of Detroit, Demontae Allen of Warren and Donovan Sanders of Warren were arraigned in Ferndale District Court. Bailey, Gulley and Davis are 18. Allen and Sanders are 17.

About 90 vehicles are believed to have had windows broken or other damage over the weekend in Ferndale, Royal Oak, Madison Heights and Hazel Park. Some were spray painted.

The teens were arrested Sunday morning after police stopped their car. BB guns and spray paint were found inside.

Hearings are scheduled Sept. 17. The Associated Press was unable Wednesday to determine if the teens have lawyers.
