5 Die In 2 Separate Vehicle Crashes In Michigan

NOVI, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say five people have been killed in two vehicle crashes in southeastern and southwestern Michigan.

The Michigan State Police say 37-year-old and 25-year-old men died Thursday morning on the ramp from north Interstate 275 to west I-96 in Novi. An SUV driven by the 37-year-old veered and struck a tow truck driven by the other man that was stopped on the shoulder behind a car with a flat tire.

Van Buren County sheriff's officials say a 21-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy - all from Vicksburg - were found dead the same morning in Porter Township. The man was driving the teens and lost control of the car, striking a tree.

Investigators say the car rolled several times and landed in a wooded area.
