4-Year-Old Girl Identified As 2nd Body Found In Burning Detroit Home

DETROIT (WWJ) - The man police think killed a mother and her four-year-old daughter is now facing murder, child abuse, arson, and other charges. Thirty-four-year old ex-parolee Marcus Hightower was arraigned Tuesday.

The bodies of Heidi Walker and her daughter, Savannah, were found in a burning Detroit home on Forest near Chalmers over the weekend after being reported missing.

The Wayne County medical examiner positively identified Savannah Wednesday night.

Authorities say how and why they were killed in still being investigated.
