4 Men Acquitted Of Murder In Elderly Flint Man's Death

FLINT, Mich. (AP) - A jury has cleared four people in the fatal shooting of a 79-year-old man at his Flint home.

Three of the men were released from jail Thursday where they had been held for nearly two years while awaiting trial reports The Flint Journal.  The other man, Aurien Brown, remains in custody after jurors convicted him of armed robbery and home invasion.

Brown was acquitted of murder along with Marquise Love, Takais Brown and Keanu Brown.

Jimmie Allison, a veteran, was found dead in August 2014. Genesee County prosecutor David Leyton says he respects the jury's decision.

Defense attorney Carl Jordan says the theory of the prosecution's case wasn't clear.
