30 Million Americans Unemployed Including 1.2 Million Michiganders

(CBS DETROIT) - 30 million Americans have now filed for unemployment since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Last week nearly 4 million people were laid off according to the Department of Labor.

In Michigan, the number of filings dropped from over 100,000 two weeks ago to now 81,000 last week.

Over 1 million people in the state have filed for unemployment.
