3 Teens Linked To More Than 45 Crimes Arrested

KALAMAZOO (AP) - Three teenagers have been linked to a Kalamazoo crime spree involving more than 45 cases.

Police say a 13-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy from Kalamazoo and a 17-year-old male from Three Rivers were arrested Saturday afternoon after running from officers.

Two other youths were detained and questioned by police.

Two BB pistols taken earlier from a retail store and other stolen items were recovered. The guns were used to shoot out windows of vehicles. Homes and people also were shot at as the group drove around in a vehicle belonging to the family of the 13-year-old.

Police say the 13-year-old was released Friday from a juvenile detention facility.
