3 Injured In SUV v. Car Crash In Northwest Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Three people are hospitalized after an early morning accident on Detroit's northwest side.

Police said an SUV crashed into a car at Greenfield and Outer Drive just before 1 a.m. on Monday.

Two people in the car were taken to a local hospital with what were described as serious injuries. The SUV driver was also taken to the hospital, according to police.

Police said it was not immediately clear who or what was responsible for the crash.

Outer Dr. was closed for about six hours as police investigators reconstructed the accident, but it has since reopened.
