3 Employees Arrested For Allegedly Selling Heroin, Marijuana At Car Wash

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Police say three employees at a Roseville car wash have been arrested for selling drugs at the business following a weeks-long sting operation.

The employees, ages 21, 32 and 38, were taken into custody Monday on accusations they sold heroin and marijuana at or near Masters Car Wash, on Gratiot Avenue just north of 12 Mile Road.

Police say their investigation began back on September 22 after detectives received information about alleged narcotic trafficking out of the car wash. During the ensuing investigation, detectives were able to identify three subjects as being involved in the reported activity, according to police.

All three suspects taken into custody are employees of the car wash; the owner of the car wash is not under investigation.

The first suspect, a 38-year-old Detroit man, is charged with three counts of delivery of heroin. The second suspect, a 21-year-old Detroit man, is charged with one count of possession of marijuana, two counts of delivery of heroin, and one count of conspiracy to deliver heroin. The third suspect, a 32-year-old Detroit man, is charged with four counts of delivery of heroin, one count of conspiracy to deliver heroin, and one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Names were not released.

The suspects are currently jailed. Formal arraignments are expected to take place Wednesday.
