3 Armed Men At Large In Theft Of Car, Phone, Cash In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for three suspects who robbed a man who sold them knockoff footwear.

Police say the 28-year old victim admitted to detectives that he sold three men some "fake boots" Thursday morning, in the 16400 block of E. Warren in Detroit.

When the three men later approached the victim demanding their money back, he refused, and they robbed him at gunpoint, according to police. Taken were a gray 2012 Chrysler 300 with Michigan license plate ANZ 3292, keys, a Samsung Galaxy S5 cell phone, and $150.

The victim was not injured.

Suspect number one is described as a black male in his 20s with medium complexion and short hair. Suspect number two was a black male around 19 year's old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall with his hair in dreadlocks. The third suspect is only described as a black male.

Police said all three were armed.
