25-Year-Old In Critical Condition With Severe Facial Injuries After Car Struck Her On Groesbeck

MACOMB (WWJ) A 25-year old Clinton Township woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car on Groesbeck Highway.

Police say Penny Licausi was standing in the road when she was hit early yesterday morning north of Metro Parkway.

The driver stopped and flagged down another driver to call 911.  Police say he wasn't breaking any laws when the accident occurred.

Investigators aren't sure if Licausi had been drinking.  She has severe facial and skull and lower body injuries.
