2016 Election Exclusive: Candice Miller & Tony Marrocco Sound Off On 'Michigan Matters'

Cong. Candice Miller and Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Anthony Marrocco appeared on "Michigan Matters" and talked about their battle over the job Marrocco has held the past 24 years.

Miller, a Republican who decided not to run again for Congress, is looking win the seat in the hotly contested race.
Marrocco, a Democrat, and Miller talked individually with "Michigan Matters" Senior Producer/Host Carol Cain about why they want the job, and their vision should he or she prevail.

Both candidates also shared thoughts about each other.

Then, the roundtable of Lena Epstein, Co-Chair of Trump Michigan, Ryan Mack, financial analyst, and Pete Waldmeir, former Detroit News columnist, talked about polls which show Trump picking up momentum in Michigan.

Mack, who is supporting Clinton, disagreed with Epstein on the viability of the two candidates.

The roundtable also vetted the Oakland County Executive race which has longtime incumbent L. Brooks Patterson facing Vicki Barnett, a Democrat.

There was also talk about early voter turnout via absentee ballots.
