2 Wanted In Stabbing Attack Outside Pontiac Apartments

PONTIAC (WWJ) - Oakland County Sheriff's detectives are looking for two suspects in the stabbing of a man outside a Pontiac apartment complex.

Deputies were called to St. Joseph's Hospital, early Monday morning, about a 41-year-old man in the emergency room who was suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim told investigators he was leaving the Fox Point Apartments, at 900 Martin Luther King Blvd., when he was ambushed by two people who stabbed him in the stomach and upper chest.

The man told deputies there was an ongoing dispute between himself and his attackers, whom he recognized.

The man was able to driver himself to the hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries. He was last reported in stable condition.

Sheriff's officials say a small amount of blood was found at the crime scene.

One of the suspects is a 50-year-old Pontiac man, according to authorities, but no other details and no names were released.

An investigation is ongoing.
