2 Teens Charged In Double Drive-By Shooting

GRAND RAPIDS (AP) - Two teenagers are charged with attempted murder in a drive-by shooting in Grand Rapids that injured another teen and a 4-year-old child.

A 17-year-old boy was on a bike and the 4-year-old was on a sidewalk when they were shot Thursday by someone in an SUV. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police say two teens, 16 and 17, were in custody Friday on attempted murder charges. One appeared in court Friday. Another 16-year-old was arrested on a different charge.

Hours after the shooting, police found an SUV that matched the description of the one related to the shooting. The three suspects were rounded up by 10 p.m.
