2 Suspects Use Stolen Vehicle During Burgling Of Both Bucharest Grill Locations

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are on the lookout for two people suspected of stealing a car and burgling two popular restaurants.

Sergeant Cassandra Lewis told WWJ Newsradio 950 the suspects first stole a silver 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the middle of the night on Nov. 24 from What Up Dough -- a frozen cookie dough and ice cream small business.

The car is seen in surveillance video where the two male suspects are breaking and entering at one Detroit Bucharest Grill location on the 1600 block of Michigan Avenue on the same night and another location on the 2000 Block of Park Avenue in Detroit on Dec. 7.

Money was taken during the burglaries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
