2 Michigan Men Arrested In Ohio For Allegedly Shooting At State Trooper's Car

DETROIT  (WWJ) - Two metro Detroit men have been arrested in Ohio after an Ohio State Highway Patrol car was shot at early Sunday morning along the I-75 freeway.

Toledo News Now reports the shots were fired just after midnight. A trooper was cruising the highway near State Route 582 in Perrysburg Township, when a bullet from a car he was passing hit his vehicle. The suspects' car sped away, lost control and hit a concrete barrier.

Carl Spruiel of Taylor and Terrance Lavender of Detroit were charged and both are scheduled to be in court on Monday.
