2 Michigan Cities Voted Among Rudest In America

More than 50,000 votes over six months have been tallied and the results are not exactly favorable for two of Michigan's largest cities.

According to an online survey conducted by Travel + Leisure magazine, Detroit and Ann Arbor landed on their list of America's Rudest Cities.

Neither city was on the 2015 list but this year Detroit was 11th and Ann Arbor came in at the 10th spot.

The survey was part of the magazine's America's Favorite Places survey including 36 cities with populations exceeding 100,000. The questions revolved around the cities amenities including world-class museums, chef-driven restaurants and cocktail lounges and conversely, "quality-of-life features, like how walkable a city is, how safe it feels and how cordial the locals seem."
