2 Men Run Over While Teaching Boy How To Drive Tractor

BLENDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - An 11-year-old boy accidentally ran over his grandfather and uncle while driving a tractor in western Michigan.

Ottawa County sheriff's deputies tell The Grand Rapids Press that the men were teaching the boy how to drive Saturday in Blendon Township. The men were injured but are expected to survive.

John David Hoeksema and John Duane Hoeksema were in front of the 1949 tractor's back wheels when the tractor lurched forward.
